– The Lavender Pavilion prayer garden next to our historic 1905 farmhouse; often incorporated into the half-day retreats held at our historic 1905 farmhouse in Springfield, OR.

An “All Volunteer” Ministry
When we launched TUS in January of 2015, we made a commitment to have no paid staff. Our goal was to keep overhead costs down, so we could offer ministry events and resources at the lowest possible prices…and even offer many items at no charge.
Julie White, our Executive Director, does not receive a salary from the ministry. (She earns some modest fees from her Coaching and Spiritual Direction clients, and from her outside speaking events). She creates and manages all aspects of TUS, with the assistance of her husband, Bruce, who serves as a Program Co-Leader and as our Editorial Director. He also serves the ministry as a volunteer.
This means that when you participate in one of our events, or purchase an item from our store, there is no additional markup to cover salaries. When you make a donation to our ministry, we don’t take anything off the top to cover payroll…because there is no payroll! The result? Any “profit” we make during the year is completely re-invested (100%) in the ministry.
